WHAT YOU SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO, IN ORDER TO PREPARE THE ROOM OF A NEWBORN CORRECTLY

      First of all, the baby’s room must have been cleaned thoroughly, any traces of humidity or mould must be gone, in case it has been painted, it is best to allow a period of at least two weeks, before your baby lives in it.

  For the furniture, prefer the light pastel colors, as the newborn’s vision is not clear yet and the dark colors tire the baby’s eyes. You may clean the furniture with a wet cloth, using a mix of water with white vinegar (3 cups water + ½ cup white vinegar).

   In choosing the furniture, do not “overload” the room, leave enough space to move freely and prefer what facilitates your functionality: for example, the chest drawer where you store all things necessary in taking care of your baby, must have the proper height, so that you do not need to bend when you dress the baby, change the nappies etc.
